Measuring the Filter Cartridge If you don't know the replacement part number, follow these steps to measure your filter: a. Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge in inches (±1/16") b. Measure the overall length of the cartridge in inches (±1/16"), excluding any handles or strings c. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (±1/16"). If the end cap is closed, note its identifying features (e.g., "Handle", "Cone")
