Aquadoc Hot Tub Chemicals Starter Kit: Directions for Use

Filling and Draining: Fill your spa or hot tub to the appropriate water level, at least halfway up the top skimmer or filter opening. Test the pH and alkalinity using test strips at least weekly. The pH should be between 7.2 and 7.8, the total alkalinity between 80 and 140 ppm, and the water/calcium hardness between 200 and 400 ppm. If the levels are not within these ranges, make the necessary adjustments using pH Increaser, pH Decreaser, and Calcium Increaser as directed. Use Metal Prevent to prevent staining and corrosion, protecting your spa components. Add Bromine Booster to the hot tub water and Bromine Tablets to the Spa Floater to evenly distribute bromine in your spa water. Sanitizing: Maintain the recommended bromine level at all times. Aquadoc Bromine Tablets recommend maintaining a 2-3 ppm bromine level while the hot tub or spa is in use. Test the bromine level regularly, especially before and after each use. Add Bromine Booster to the water to establish a 30 ppm bromide reserve. Add Bromine Tablets to the Spa Floater to evenly distribute bromine in your spa water, eliminating and preventing dirt buildup and cloudy water.

Weekly: Test the water using test strips and adjust the total alkalinity, pH levels, and calcium hardness using pH Increaser, pH Decreaser, and Calcium Increaser as needed. Add Bromine Booster and Bromine Tablets when necessary. Use Spa Defoamer to remove foam and Chlorine Free Shock after every use to quickly oxidize contaminants.

Important: Circulate your spa or hot tub water for at least a few minutes after adding any chemicals and before adding another product. Carefully follow the instructions on the container of each chemical in the kit for maximum results and safety.
